Ulrika Garisone — Digital Designer

Most designers will tell you they've been creative since childhood. I'll tell you I spent mine racing on water and snow, chasing podiums across Europe.

Design came later, and when it did, it clicked in a way nothing else had. Turns out competing at world level teaches you the same things good design does: obsess over the details, iterate relentlessly, and never settle for almost right. Get the details wrong, and everyone notices.

I'm Ulrika, a digital designer from Latvia who researches, designs, and builds. Currently in my third year of Digital Design & Development at Howest in Kortrijk, specialising in Visual Design and Experience Design.

Outside of Figma and code you'll usually find me somewhere with a good view and bad weather, on the water or on a mountain. I notice small things. I think that's why design suits me.
